Manifesting your best life is more than just wishing. It’s about having clear goals, taking action, and believing in yourself. Famous people like Dr. Joe Dispenza and Oprah have made this idea popular. Now, TikTok and other social media sites are full of people teaching us about manifestation.
By setting clear intentions, you’re already on the right path. This helps you stay positive and reach your highest potential.
The History of Manifestation
Manifestation isn’t new, it comes from ancient cultures like Hinduism and Buddhism. These cultures used rituals, prayers, and visualization to get what they wanted. Today, we mix these old ways with science and psychology. What a lot of people don’t realise though is that Buddhist teachings show us that we don’t need material possessions to be happy.
Yet a lot of people seem to think that those manifestations are expressly for gaining money and power. That’s why I think it’s important to have a good solid foundation of spiritual awareness in your life so that you can differentiate. At least do some research into the forms of manifestation and the history so that you know what the deeper meanings are.
Differentiating Manifestation from Wishing
Wishing alone won’t make your dreams come true. True manifestation needs effort and action. Quite often, I see a lot of YouTube manifestation experts telling people that they need to drink water or just breathe and think about what they want but I never see any of them actually teaching people how to make a solid plan.
The only way to achieve what you really want is to make a plan for it and have a detailed visualization. For example, you are not going to be able to achieve some kind of academic manifestation unless you enroll in a course. If only it was as easy as what a lot of them say, but unfortunately it takes more than sitting on the lounge and visualizing what you want. You need to take steps to action!

Setting Clear and Specific Intentions
Setting clear goals is vital to making your dreams come true. When you know exactly what you want, you’re more likely to get it. Using a journal or a planner and a vision board is absolutely vital. For example I was stuck in Los Angeles during the 2020 pandemic. The whole time I was planning to come back to Australia I was visualising what kind of car I would purchase when I returned and I wanted to live on an island in a specific kind of apartment and I pictured a particular kind of furniture.
I looked all of these items up online and I found them all and I bookmarked everything so that it was ready for me when I arrived. Even though I did not have the money to provide all of these things at the time I got them eventually. It happened! The money didn’t magically fall out of the sky but I had to take steps to find it. I did that and I am so glad that I did.

Journals and vision boards can really help you to achieve what you want. I used this method when I set up my apartment by making a visual diary and journal of everything I wanted. I even chose my sofa and the furniture that I wanted. It took several months to pull it all together, but I achieved it and it happened. I could not have done that if I hadn’t planned out exactly what I had wanted in advance.
Using these tools regularly can fill you with positivity and help you on your journey.

Learning through courses and workshops can change your life. Studies show that being active in your journey boosts success. There is plenty of online courses that you can pay to do and there is plenty of free ones. I regularly accept free downloads of mini courses and guides that I find on my Facebook scroll. There is no harm in receiving them and reading the information. Each time I do this, I learn something new from these gifted successful people.
Utilizing Rituals and Ceremonies
Rituals and ceremonies help set intentions and focus energy. Doing rituals at specific times, like the new moon, strengthens your connection to the universe.

There are many rituals to boost your manifestation during the new moon. Journalling is a great place to start your manifestation journey and it’s always great to start a new project or a new journal on the new moon. 
Meditation is also a great start to make your goals clearer. When you remove all distractions from around you it is so much easier to focus. You can get in touch with inner desires and refine your thoughts into clarity.
Visualization during meditation can greatly increase the power of your manifestation by creating these images in your subconscious mind. By adding these rituals to your new moon practice, you can boost your intentions and move closer to your desires.
The New Moon is a great time to clear your crystals and set intentions. Place them in a bowl outside at night. They will be charged after absorbing the energy of the new moon. I also use smudge of sage, cedarwood and palo santo to clear my crystals. I believe healing energy should be available to everyone but I also advocate for the usage of ethical sage for your rituals.
My favourite manifesting crytals are Citrine, Pyrite, Clear Quartz and Aventurine. This is also a great mix for activating your solar plexus chakra which is your centre of personal power, confidence and abundance.

Adding positive affirmations to your daily life can change your mindset. It helps you focus on what you want and reach your goals. This way, you build a positive mental space.
Daily Practices to Keep Focus
Using positive affirmations every day can shift your mindset and improve your life. Saying them in the morning or before bed can replace bad thoughts with good ones. This makes you see the world in a brighter light.
Positive affirmations can help you to feel better about yourself and more positive about your manifestations. A lot of us have negative self chatter that goes on in our mind and this can be very unhelpful. We need to be our biggest supporters!
We can use positive affirmations to create self love and it is also a form of self-care. Throughout our lives we receive many negative inputs from around us and we can’t always change that. What we can do is change how we receive those negative imputs. One of the ways we do that is by ignoring and blocking negativity and reversing it in our mind using the power of positive affirmations and self love.
In the end, manifesting your best life is about staying clear, engaging in the right activities, and keeping a positive mindset. This combination is key to a successful life experience.
